TAI CHI CHUAN WORKSHOP

Sunday, June 17, 2001

From 13:00 - 17:00 hrs.

Conducted by Dan Tian School Teachers - Maurizio Mongelli and Gianni Tebano

The Dan Tien school's philosophy is based on the belief that the primary objective of our existence is to return to our original state, achieve full consciousness of our higher self and to harmonize our identity with nature. The Dan Tien teaching method enables the full development and harmonious reunion of 'Ching' (physical energy) and 'Shen' (spiritual illumination). The benefits of this systematic practice are rejuvenation.

Tai Chi Chuan is based on dynamic meditation using the rules of yin and yang energy. Physical movement is combined with breathing and visualization to take care of the physical body, as well as the mind and the spirit. All the sequences are studied to improve concentration levels (The "Chi" energy and its circulation) and each single movement has applications as self-defense in the Yang family style. Advanced students do not use physical strength, but rather use vital energy. Free to all members and Baht 500++ for non-members.
