Air-India/Malaysia Airlines Code Share Flights to Los Angeles Introduced

Air-India has entered into a code share/block space agreement with Malaysia Airlines whereby its passengers can travel on the latter’s flights between India and Kuala Lumpur and from there to Los Angeles.

Under this arrangement, there are seven weekly flights between India and Kuala Lumpur - four from Mumbai (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), two from Bangalore (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) and one from Hyderabad (on Sundays). Four services a week are operated between Kuala Lumpur and Los Angeles.

Air-India continues to operate three services a week from Mumbai/ Chennai to Kuala Lumpur with its own Airbus 310 aircraft enroute to Singapore. On the return leg, the flights which operate via Singapore/Chennai terminate at Kochi, Mumbai and Delhi. Air-India passengers, travelling either on its own services to Kuala Lumpur or on any code share flight of Malaysia Airlines, can avail of the code share flights on the Kuala Lumpur – Los Angeles sector. The flights from Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
