FAIRS & EXHIBITIONS APPOINTS MIDDLE EAST REGIONAL DIRECTOR JONES TO DRIVE NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Fairs and Exhibitions, organisers of the Dubai air show which also has two other vertical trade events within its global portfolio, has appointed Steven Jones as its first Regional Director for the Middle East.

Jones, a 40 year old British national, has extensive sales and marketing experience throughout the Middle East having worked in Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE.

Holder of an HNC in Business Studies & Marketing, Jones' management career spans the technical information, conference and hospitality sectors.

"This appointment has been made as Fairs and Exhibitions enters a new era of expansion in the Middle East," said Virginia Kern, Chairman, Fairs and Exhibitions. "We hope to shortly announce two new ground-breaking projects and Steve will assist in building both our client base and the Fairs and Exhibitions brand throughout the wider Middle East region."

Fairs and Exhibitions pioneered trade events in the Middle East and apart from the Dubai air show, its current exhibitions portfolio includes: the PackTech International, packaging show and PrinTech/PubliTech, international exhibition for the printing and publishing industries.
