Travel News Asia Date: 22 March 2001

The Sofitel Central Plaza Bangkok has launched a "Rebranding for Business Package" to celebrate the recent relaunch of the hotel under Accor’s premier Sofitel brand.

The deal includes round-trip airport limousine transfer, automatic upgrade to a petite suite, welcome drink and daily newspaper. Executives can also enjoy a per cent discount at the adjacent Central Department Store; fitness centre use and complementary shuttle bus service downtown or to the nearby Bangkok Skytrain station.

Valid until 31 August, the deal requires a minimum two nights stay and costs US$115 a night including tax and service charge.

The Sofitel includes two executive floors and a range of suites, all with views of the Bangkok skyline or nearby Chatuchak Park.

The hotel has its own conference facilities for up to 1,500 delegates, as well as nine food and beverage outlets, business centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre with hi-tech gymnasium, and a new spa complex with seven individual treatment rooms.
