Travel News Asia Date: 16 January 2001

Air Canada announced today that it has expanded its codeshare agreement with Star Alliance partner Lufthansa German Airlines to include flights to and from Russia. Effective January 18, 2001, Air Canada will offer its customers daily codeshare service on Lufthansa operated flights between Frankfurt and Moscow as well as between Frankfurt and St-Petersburg.

"We are very pleased to offer our international customers improved access to Moscow and St-Petersburg, two of Russia's most important commercial centres," said Danielle Poudrette, Vice President, Marketing.
