CENTURY ROXY PARK HOTEL OFFICIALLY OPENED !

 In celebration of Century Roxy Park Hotel’s official opening today, invited guests were treated to an evening filled with tradition, culture, vibrant colours and lights. Jointly hosted by Century International Hotels and Roxy-Pacific Development Pte. Ltd. (owning company of Century Roxy Park Hotel), the reception was held by the poolside and in the function hall on level 4 of the hotel.

The event started early evening with a well-wishing performance by a lion dance troupe in the lobby and at the entrance of the hotel. After a welcome speech by the General Manager of Century Roxy Park Hotel – Mr. Lawrence Milston, the hotel’s opening was officiated by Mr. Yeo Khee Leng - Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Tourism Board, Mr. Teo Hong Lim – Chairman of Roxy-Pacific Development Pte. Ltd. And Mr. Brian Deeson – President and Chief Executive Officer of Century International Hotels by means of launching a spray of confetti with a hand-held remote control each, followed by a pyrotechnics and intellibeam lights show. Other highlights for the evening were a dance performance and a comedy cum magic show.

Century Roxy Park Hotel is located on Marine Parade Road, just across the street from Parkway Parade Shopping Centre, and within walking distance from East Coast Park. The hotel has 481 guestrooms and suites, and 3 restaurants and bars. Other in-house facilities include 3 function rooms, 7 meeting rooms, a business centre, a pool and a fitness centre. The main commercial and industrial areas of Singapore, the airport and city are all just 10 minutes drive away.

Century International Hotels currently manages 21 hotels and resorts in seven Asian countries – Hong Kong SAR, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. Opening in 2001 will be the 140-room Century Samarkand Hotel in Uzbekistan.
