THE DUTCO HOTELS GROUP APPOINTS NEW SALES & MARKETING LEADERS

Travel News Asia Date: 15 December 2001

Dutco Hotels gears up for the next season with a consolidated Sales & Marketing Team and newly announced leaders in place.

Earlier this year, the Dutco Hotels consolidated their Sales Managers into one united team operating out of the Oasis Beach Hotel on Jumeirah Beach.

The Dutco Hotels Group is comprised of three unique properties: the 80 acre Hatta Fort Hotel, a mountain resort and Relais & Chateaux member, the 128 acre Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort, a Leading Hotels of the World member and the Oasis Beach Hotel set on luxurious Jumeirah Beach.

Former Sales Managers of the three hotels moved into the new offices at the Oasis Beach Hotel and were empowered to sell all three properties.

David Thomson, a seasoned hotelier and marketing maverick takes the helm of the united Sales & Marketing team as Director of Sales & Marketing for the group, and Anabela Radosevic, hailing from a leading international chain, takes over as the new Assistant Director of Sales. Radosevic, though new to Dubai, has to her credit an extensive and focused experience in corporate and government hotel sales. Omar Carrera has been appointed DOSM Travel & Tours.

"With a united Sales & Marketing Team and strong new leadership in place, the Dutco Hotels Group is now ready to forge ahead full-force in the new year," said Thomson.

The team members celebrated with an evening out at the Laguna Bar preceded by iftar in the Oasis Beach Hotel Ramadan Tent.

With 700 rooms in three distinctly different locations comprising an enviable spectrum of business, leisure and sporting facilities, the Dutco Hotels Group offers a wide range of holiday options for business and leisure stays.
