Air New Zealand to Sell Ansett Mark II Services

Air New Zealand will commence sales of Ansett Mark II services this week following the signing of an agreement between the two airlines.

Ansett Mark II services, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, are available on a return basis for travel between the following Australian centres:

Melbourne to Sydney

Melbourne to Perth

Melbourne to Adelaide

Melbourne to Brisbane

Melbourne to Hobart

Brisbane to Sydney

Sydney to Perth

Adelaide to Perth.



As Ansett Mark II is being run as a low cost airline, and in keeping with its aim to deliver competitive fares, it offers a "no frills" service as follows:

* Single class economy cabin only - no business class

* No catering provided although water is available on all services

* Limited in-flight entertainment.

Bookings on Ansett services may be made through Air New Zealand's Travelcentres and call centres or directly online linking to the Ansett Mark 11 website via the Air New Zealand website.
