FIRST INTERNATIONAL BRAND PRESENCE WITH PATTAYA MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA

The Royal Garden Resorts Group has announced the official rebranding of the Royal Garden Resort, Pattaya to become the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa.

Royal Garden Resorts will continue to operate the resort under the international Marriott brand. Marriott's international distribution in Asia has grown significantly, with over 88 hotels and 33,000 rooms in the region.

Royal Garden Resort's Vice President of Operations, Mr Michael Burchett said "this is the third Marriott franchise for Royal Garden Resorts, and continues our strategy to build a strong group around globally recognized brands. Our success in Hua Hin and Bangkok reinforce this. Our focus on the 'resort & spa' ambience builds on Royal Garden's expertise in this market."

General Manager of the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, Khun Somsak Tanruengsri noted "The resort is committed to combining international hospitality expertise with Thai culture and true Thai hospitality to ensure our guests take home a taste of Thailand. Located on Beach Road, overlooking the Gulf of Siam, the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa is set over eight acres of tropical gardens offering an oasis and complete privacy whilst being steps away from the best shopping and entertainment Pattaya has to offer.

The 290 room Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa stands out with its unique Thai architecture and tropical landscaped designed gardens featuring Thai Salas and lotus ponds. All rooms have a balcony or terrace with views over gardens or towards the ocean.
