NOVOTEL LAUNCHES US$500,000 GIVE AWAY

Travel News Asia Date: 11 December 2001

Traveller Cheque promotion offers US$10 savings on Accor Seasonal Sale rate

Novotel has launched its first Traveller Cheque guest loyalty promotion entitling return customers to US$10 savings on future visits to a selection of 19 Novotel properties in Asia.

A total of 50,000 Traveller Cheque vouchers will be given away from now until 17 March, 2002 and each must be redeemed before that date.

Upon check out guests will receive a Novotel Traveller Cheque stamped by the hotel. It can then be presented on any return visit to participating Novotels in Asia, applicable to all rates equal or higher than the Accor Seasonal Sale rate.

Vice President Sales & Marketing, Rob Hornman, said: “The Novotel Traveller Cheque promotion encourages guest loyalty to the Novotel brand and not just a single hotel. This way guests can enjoy added value, in addition to excellent Accor Seasonal Sale rates, in destinations from Bali to Beijing.

“It is also a great opportunity for existing Accor clients to discover and use new Novotel Century hotels or for customers from Century Hotels International to experience our Novotel brand.”

Novotel hotels and resorts are managed by Accor. With 145,000 associates in 140 countries, Accor is the European leader and one of the world's largest groups in travel, tourism and corporate services, with two major international activities:

- hotels: 3,600 hotels (400,000 rooms) in 90 countries, travel agencies, restaurants and casinos;

- services to corporate clients and public institutions: each day, 12 million people in 31 countries use a broad range of services (Food Vouchers, People's Care, Expenses Management, Social Services, Incentive / Events) engineered and managed by Accor.
