THAI Organizes Retirement Ceremony 2000

At Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, His Excellency Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban, Minister of Transport and Communications, presided over THAI’s Retirement Ceremony 2000.

Amongst the 129 THAI employees retiring on 30 September 2000 are THAI’s senior management, including Mr. Thamnoon Wanglee, THAI’s President, Captain Sa-ad Sobsatrasorn, THAI’s Executive Vice President for Operations, Mr. Kamol Thammanichanond, THAI’s Vice President for Accounting, and Mr. Suthin Sanguansat, THAI’s Vice President for Special Projects. The Commemorative Plaque Presentation Ceremony and a Farewell Celebration were organized and attended by THAI’s management and staff.

THAI’s President, Mr. Thamnoon Wanglee, who will be retiring on 30 September 2000, joined Thai Airways International in 1969. He became THAI’s President in 1993 and has worked at THAI for 31 years. Mr. Bhisit Kuslasayanond, THAI’s Executive Vice President for Customer Services, will officially become President of Thai Airways International, effective on 1 October 2000.
