BEADS BAR AND BISTRO OPENS IN CENTURY ROXY PARK HOTEL

Located on Level 2, the newly opened Beads Bar and Bistro in Century Roxy Park Hotel is already making a name for itself by being a popular choice of venue for business dealings and social gatherings alike.

With an undoubtly homely atmosphere, Beads is furnished with specially designed dining sets and couches of royal purple and lime green colour scheme.

Beads offers an eclectic mix of Western and Asian flavours, ranging from the Sawasdee Dish to the Roxy Burger to the Classic Lamb Shank which Desmond Wong, Executive Chef (formerly from La Brasserie at the Marco Polo Hotel) is renowned for. Similarly, the drinks menu is as tempting. A melodious mix of ‘Hip Blends’; concoctions of Puneet Dhawan, Executive Assistant Manager – Food and Beverage of the hotel are must tries.

For snacks or take-away, a delicatessen counter features premium ice-cream, cakes and pastries. Computers are available for the internet-savvy.

Beads is open daily for lunch and dinner. The lounge section is open for cocktails from 11 am to 11 pm daily.

Beads Bar and Bistro is the first out of the total of three restaurants and bars to open in the hotel. The other two outlets are Hē Bar@The Pool which offers a wide variety of international beers, bar snacks and an Asian tapas menu, and Feast@East which will serve spectacular buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner (high-tea on public holidays and weekends) with a wide variety of local and international specialties and live-cooking counters, when it opens on 1st November 2000.

Century International Hotels currently manages 21 hotels and resorts in six Asian countries – Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China and Vietnam. Opening 2000 will be the 152-room Watergate Century Hotel Shenzhen, 211-room Century Inn North Point Hong Kong. Now open, the 197-room Century Benoa Resort Bali and 463-room Century Roxy Park Hotel Singapore.
