KLM and Air Exel revise cooperation

Travel News Asia 8 October 2004

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air Exel have decided to revise their cooperative ties. The existing KLM Exel franchise will be discontinued effective November 6, 2004. This means that, as of this date, Air Exel will begin operating flights between Eindhoven and London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Hamburg under its own name and XT flight numbers.

Air Exel will continue to operate flights between Maastricht and Schiphol on behalf of KLM until March 26, 2005, after which KLM cityhopper will take over the flights on this route.

The Flying Dutchman partnership will remain in place on all these services.
