Commencing April 6, 2004, Air Canada,
Air Canada Jazz and Air Canada Vacation's (ACV) customers will check-in for
domestic and international flights at new the Terminal 1 at Toronto's Pearson
Airport. Customers travelling to the United States on Air Canada, Air Canada
Jazz, and ACV will continue to check-in at Terminal 2.
Air Canada customers will find a number of features in the new terminal
that are geared to making their travel experience seamless and efficient
including: 48 check-in kiosks in locations convenient to the customer; 88
check-in counters; a new customer service counter located at the gate area
to facilitate changes to our customers' travel plans; a new Maple Leaf Lounge with seating capacity for 330 people; and a new Customer Care
Centre for customers with specific needs.
"The new terminal puts Toronto on the map as the premiere international
gateway for Canada and North America," said Montie Brewer, Executive Vice
President, Commercial for Air Canada. "More than 50,000 Air Canada customers
fly to, from or connect through our Toronto hub every day. A redeveloped hub
in Toronto allows Air Canada to explore additional market. |
