AirAsia to launch low cost flights between Bangkok and Singapore

AirAsia have obtained rights to operate flights from Bangkok to Singapore beginning February 16th, 2004. There will be one daily point-to-point flight from Don Muang Airport (Bangkok International Airport) to Changi International Airport, Singapore. Low fares for the Bangkok - Singapore route will start from Baht 1300 (from S$59.99) one way.

AirAsia’s flight schedule from Bangkok to Singapore is as follows:

Flights from Departure / Arrival Flight Frequency
Bangkok to Singapore 0710 / 1030 (local time) FD 700 Daily 
Singapore to Bangkok 1100 / 1215 (local time) FD 701 Daily

Seats for the Bangkok- Singapore flights will be available for booking from February 7th onwards.

Bookings can be made via AirAsia’s website, or by calling the airline’s call centres at the following numbers: in Thailand: 02 515 9999 or in Singapore: 6733 9933.

The new Bangkok – Singapore route marks AirAsia Thai operation’s international debut which has commenced service from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Hadyai and Phuket on Monday (Feb 3rd, 2004), and Khon Khaen on Feb 12th.
