More than 100 students from seven universities in Thailand will be participating in the 2nd Asia Pacific Future Leaders Forum
(APFLF) on 12 October 2004 at the IMPACT Convention Center in Bangkok.
The students come from the tourism and hospitality faculties of Chiang Mai University, Dusit Thani College, International Hotel &
Tourism Industry Management School, Mahidol University, Naresuen University, Rangsit University and Srinakharin Wirot
University.
They will attend a half-day workshop with presentations by industry professionals, followed by a visit to the 12th IT&CMA
(Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia) and 7th CTW (Corporate Travel World) Asia-Pacific
exhibition where they will gain knowledge and insight of the MICE (meetings, incentive travel, conventions and exhibitions) industry. Each student will receive a
certificate of participation at the end of the forum.
The APFLF is organised by IMEX-Frankfurt, ICCA (International Congress & Convention Association), TCEB (Thailand
Convention & Exhibition Bureau) and TTG Asia. It is held as part of the 12th IT&CMA and 7th CTW Asia-Pacific. More than 2,000
delegates from 37 countries from the MICE and corporate travel industries are expected to attend the shows.
Co-located for the first time in Thailand and dubbed the ‘Doublebill’ (two shows in one location), IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific
will be held on 12-14 October 2004 at the IMPACT Convention Center. Open to trade visitors, the exhibition will be held in
Bangkok for the last time before it moves to Pattaya for 2005 and 2006.
