Asian Hotels Alliance launches Tri-Lingual Website

Travel News Asia 29 November 2004

The Asian Hotels Alliance (AHA), one of Asia’s largest hotel marketing associations, has added Japanese and simplified Chinese languages to its website www.ahahotels.com.

The new website showcases the online reservation system that enables AHA guests to check availability, rates and book their preferred AHA hotel at the click of a button through a choice of English, Japanese and simplified Chinese languages. The website also includes two new dedicated pages to the latest news and promotions from all five member hotel brands.

“We are delighted that the Japanese and simplified Chinese language sites are now live, as this widens AHA’s marketing reach within Asia; in particular mainland China and Japan, whose citizens are more comfortable with their own languages,” said Jeffrey Flowers, Senior Vice President of the Marco Polo Hotel Group and current Chairman of the AHA Marketing Committee.

The Asia Hotels Alliance is an association of Asia based hotel companies who have formed a marketing collaboration. Members include Dusit Hotels & Resorts (Thailand), Landis Hotels & Resorts (Taiwan), Marco Polo Hotel Group (Hong Kong), Meritus Hotels & Resorts (Singapore) and New Otani Hotels (Japan).
