Concorde International appoints Alexandra Pisker State Manager Victoria/Tasmania

Concorde International announced today the appointment of Ms Alexandra Pisker as State Manager, Victoria/Tasmania, succeeding Mr Mario Perrone in that role.

Mr Perrone has held the dual positions of Manager Victoria / Tasmania and National Sales Manager Australia for Concorde International Travel since early 2002. He will now concentrate on the his national responsibilities.

Alexandra entered the travel industry in 1988 and joined Concorde in 2000, starting in telesales and advancing to Business Development Manager, based in Sydney, where she assisted greatly in the expansion of the sales performance of the Concorde's NSW ticketing business.

She brings to her new role strong field sales expertise in air ticket wholesaling, and extensive retail sales experience with companies including Sydney Flight Centre and Just Flights.

Concorde's General Manager, Air Tickets Wholesale, Mr Russell Carstensen, said Ms Pisker would commence in Melbourne on 3 May, and would be responsible for the performance and expansion of Concorde Air Tickets in Victoria and Tasmania.

"Alexandra has a strong record of achievement in her previous roles, and is now responsible for increasing the Concorde's revenue and market position in Victoria and Tasmania," said Mr Carstensen. "We welcome her to this important new role at what remains a very challenging time for the travel industry."
