Japan Airlines (JAL) and Swiss International Airlines are expanding their code sharing alliance from September 1st this year with intra Europe code share round trip flights from Zurich to Geneva and Vienna, operated by Swiss International. Zurich is the Swiss gateway city for JAL and Swiss International flights from Tokyo, Japan.

JAL and Swiss International have been operating under a code share agreement on the Tokyo-Zurich route since Spring 2003. At the time of that agreement the two airlines planned to expand the arrangement to include flights from Zurich to other cities in Europe.
