Qatar Airways launched its new service to Islamabad today - its fourth
destination in Pakistan.
"I am very pleased to inaugurate Qatar Airways' new service to Islamabad,
and reiterate Qatar Airways' strong commitment to serve the people of Pakistan," said Mr Al
Rais, Regional Manager for the Arabian Peninsula, Pakistan and Central Asia.
"Islamabad represents our 49th global destination, and our fourth
destination in Pakistan, after Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar.
"This year we will be adding Istanbul, Luxor, Zurich, Melbourne and Kabul
to our route network, and we are currently working on four other destinations, which we are hoping to announce in the near future," Mr Al
Rais said.
Qatar Airways will fly from Doha to Islamabad twice each week. Every
Wednesday flight QR398 will leave Doha at 23.00 hrs, arriving in Islamabad
at 4.30 hrs the next morning. On Sundays, flight QR398 will depart from Doha at 21.45 hrs, arriving in Islamabad at 3.15 hrs the following morning,
local time. Flight QR399 from Islamabad to Doha will leave Islamabad Airport
at 5.45 hrs, arriving at Doha International Airport at 7.25 hrs, every Thursday. On Mondays, flight QR399 will leave Islamabad at 4.30 hrs,
arriving in Doha at 6.10. |
