SRS-WORLDHOTELS expands portfolio in Europe

Travel News Asia 13 September 2004

SRS-WORLDHOTELS has added three new European members to its global portfolio. With these additions, the company now represents 307 independent hotels in the European and Middle East regions.

The new hotels are The Astor Saint-Honoré hotel in Paris (Deluxe Collection), K+K Hotel am Harras in Munich and the Georgia Hotel Cleve on the Lower Rhine.

The Astor Saint-Honoré hotel (Deluxe Collection) is SRS-WORLDHOTELS’ ninth member property in Paris. Housed behind a venerable 1907 façade near the Champs-Elysées, the distinctive hotel offers modern conference facilities, including an elegant library that doubles as a meeting venue, and a 24-hour Business Centre. Guest rooms and all public areas within the hotel are furnished in mahogany and decorated with original, 18th-Century artwork. Visitors will find dinner in the gourmet restaurant De L'Astor and cocktails at the English-style bar an ideal way to spend an evening.

K+K Hotel am Harras in Munich is a designer establishment and a particularly popular gathering point during October Fest, held annually on the Theresienwiese, only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Registered business guests receive special VIP services and benefit from exclusive rates, flexible check-in times and room upgrades (subject to availability). Complimentary use of the business lounge includes computer access, daily newspapers, coffee and tea.
