To enjoy the special launch fares, seats must be purchased from 10th June to 5th July 2004. It is important to know that the special launch fares may not be available on all flights, and guests should book early to avoid disappointment.

Once confirmed, bookings for these promotional fares cannot be changed, transferred or rebooked to another date, and payments made are not refundable in the case of cancellation.

As soon as the special launch fares are sold out, AirAsia’s regular fares for Bangkok – Macau will start from Baht 1000 / MOP 219 one way.

Tony Fernandes, Group Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia said “We are absolutely thrilled to connect Macau and its neighboring region to Bangkok, one of the busiest capital cities in Asia. Macau will be AirAsia’s 6th international destination from Bangkok. Primed as a tourists’ attraction centre,  Macau is unique as it is positioned as the gateway to Hong Kong and Greater China.

We have been through a significant growth in the 2 ½ years that we were in operations. Despite the challenges, we have been consistently maintaining our low fares, and consistently growing the market. As such, we are confident that our  low fare will have a significant role in promoting trade and encouraging tourism between the countries.”
