Continental Airlines and Cape Air begin codeshare flights

Continental Airlines and Cape Air today announced a codesharing agreement on selected flights from San Juan and St. Thomas that will offer Continental customers connections to some of the most attractive destinations in the Caribbean from San Juan and St. Thomas.

Continental will codeshare on Cape Air flights from San Juan to Ponce (Puerto Rico), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands) and Tortola (British Virgin Islands). From St. Thomas, codeshare flights will include St. Croix and Tortola.

Codesharing will begin March 8. Cape Air offers more than 120 daily flights  in the Caribbean, serving passengers on Cessna 402 aircraft with a capacity of nine passengers.

The codeshare agreement links Continental's routes from New York/Newark, Houston and Cleveland to the Caribbean and offers full OnePass benefits, including a minimum of 500 miles per segment, OnePass Elite mileage  bonuses and qualification towards Elite for miles and segments flown on all codeshare routes.
