Ramada to open Pudong airport hotel in Shanghai

Ramada International has signed an agreement with Shanghai Airport (Group) Co. Ltd. to operate a 370 room airport hotel in Pudong Shanghai. It will be called Ramada Pudong Airport Shanghai and is targeted to open 29 August 2003.

The Shanghai Pudong International Airport's arrival and departure halls for international and domestic flights are only 5 minutes away by car. The hotel is also within  minutes from the new magnetic train station which connects the airport with the Pudong New Shanghai Expo Center within 7 minutes, running at an unbelievable top speed of over 400 km. per hour.

"We are very excited to operate this hotel as the first and only International Brand hotel at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport which is the biggest and most important airport in China serving not only Shanghai but also important neighboring cities like Suzhou, Kunshan, and Hangzhou. It will be our third hotel in this important city. It will also further strengthen our brand  image and distribution in the country."
