E-Ticket Interlining for KLM and American Airlines

Travel News Asia 18 December 2003

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and American Airlines have closed an electronic-ticket interlining agreement. As a result, passengers can now travel with a single e-ticket even if their flight transfers from KLM to American Airlines, or any other KLM e-ticket partner.

The comfort and service of e-ticketing will now be available to travelers throughout the entire network served by KLM and American Airlines. American Airlines is KLM's fourth e-ticket interlining partner after Northwest Airlines (which started on June 12, 2003), Alaska Airlines (November 12, 2003), and Continental Airlines (December 10, 2003).
