Fairmont Concierge Team voted Best in Dubai

The Fairmont Dubai Concierge team pulled off a hat trick at the recent Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Concierge Awards, beating 31 other five star Dubai hotel teams to win the coveted top prize.

In an evening ceremony held at Wafi City, The Fairmont Dubai team scooped the Overall 'Best Team' Award, clinching both the trophy and AED 20,000 cash prize.

The icing on the cake was two additional awards for 'Best Knowledge of Culture & Heritage' won by Charles Ferrer and 'Best Knowledge of Shopping in Dubai' won by Xernes Martinez. 

"Our Concierge team take immense pride in what they do and winning not one but three awards is fantastic recognition for their hard work and continued desire to learn more about the city to better service our guests" said Steven Webster, Rooms Division Manager.

The awards were presented following three months of research by a team of mystery guests who visited the 32 properties in turn and awarded points based on Concierge knowledge and skill.
