Thai Airways has partnered with the Thai Ministry of Public
Health to transport the first 200,000 COVID19 vaccine doses to
Thailand.
The vaccine, manufactured by Sinovac Biotech in
China, will be delivered on TG675, a cargo flight operated with an
Airbus A350-900.
The flight is scheduled to leave Beijing at 06:50
and arrive in Bangkok at 11:05 on 24 February 2021.
Thai Airways has installed special containers
which are capable of controlling the temperature of cargo between
-20˚C and +20˚C.
In addition, ground equipment and a large air
conditioned cargo area has been specially prepared for the
vaccines storage.
The needed ground staff have also been accredited
with the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certificate in
accordance to the standard of the World Health Organization by SGS
