Cebu Pacific Introduces New Baggage Policy
|
Cebu Pacific has introduced a new policy for handling
oversized checked baggage.
Beginning today, the airline's new
policy limits the size of check-in baggage at 39 inches (99.06 centimeters).
The airline says that luggage of that size will be easier to fit
on the conveyor belt, and will in
turn result in smoother operations, making the journey faster and
more convenient for all passengers.
Check-in
baggage that exceeds the 39-inch (99.06 cm) limit on any side
will be classified as an oversized bag, and passenger will be charged
PHP 800 (approximately. US$17) for domestic flights, and PHP 1,300
(approximately US$27 ) for international flights.
The airline also reminds passengers to pack their bags according to
their availed prepaid baggage allowance to avoid any other
additional fees at the airport.
