Thai Airways and Thai Smile Waive Ticket Change
Fee on Domestic Flights in April
|
Thai Airways and Thai Smile are allowing customers
to change select domestic flights within Thailand without charge.
Passengers holding domestic air tickets issued
before 19 March 2020, for travel between 1 April and 30 April 2020,
can change their flight, whether it be with Thai Airways
or Thai Smile, free of charge.
The move follows the government announcement that Songkran
has been postponed from its traditional date in mid-April due to
concerns over the ongoing COVID19 outbreak.
Travellers can now change their flight or
route without charge, although they will have to pay any
differences in taxes and fares.
Customers can even change the name on the
ticket for a 500 Baht fee.
Changes must be processed before the flight date
specified on the ticket by contacting any Thai Airways sales
office.
Terms and conditions apply.
