Vietjet to Resume Flights to Japan,
Korea and Taiwan
|
Vietjet has announced that it will resume some international
flights from Vietnam to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan starting 29 September 2020.
The airline says it will operate the following
schedule:
- Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Tokyo (Narita): One
flight every Tuesday
- Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Seoul (Incheon): One
flight every Wednesday
- Hanoi - Taipei (Taoyuan): One flight every
Thursday
Passengers departing from Vietnam must have a
medical certificate with a negative COVID19 test result taken
within 3 days before departure time as well as complying with the
mandatory medical quarantine requirements of the host countries.
Whilst the resumption of flights is good news, not
everyone will be allowed to travel. The country is not yet ready
to open its borders to tourists and as such the flights are only
available to a select group of people such as diplomats, experts,
skilled workers, investors and their families.
