First Dusit Thani Hotel in Vietnam to Open in 2021

Dusit has signed a hotel management agreement with Hoi An Royal Group, a Vietnam-based property developer, to operate the first Dusit Thani-branded hotel in Vietnam.

Located in a prime beachfront setting in Dien Ban Town near the ancient trading port of Hoi An, the Dusit Thani Hoi An is scheduled to open in 2021 comprising of 180 guest rooms and 69 villas.

Blending our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality with Vietnamese culture and design, Dusit Thani Hoi An will be perfectly positioned to provide an elegant, comfortable and convenient base for all travellers seeking to explore the ancient town of Hoi An, said Mr Lim Boon Kwee, Chief Operating Officer, Dusit International. We are delighted and honoured that Hoi An Royal Group has selected us to manage this beautiful property. We now look forward to establishing the resort as the preferred place to stay in Hoi An when it opens its doors in 2021 as a splendid showcase of everything the Dusit Thani brand has to offer.

The official signing ceremony was held at Dusit Internationals headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. Resort facilities will include a large outdoor swimming pool, gym, several state-of-the-art function rooms, a bar and lobby lounge, restaurant, and a spa.

Da Nang International Airport is only 30 minutes away by car, while Hoi Ans Riverside and Old Town centre can be reached in under 10 minutes.

Mr Nguyen Phu Quy, Chairman, Hoi An Royal Group, said, Hoi Ans reputation as a must-visit destination just keeps going from strength to strength. The town welcomed almost five million visitors last year up 50% on the 2.4 million who visited in 2017. To sustainably leverage this fast-growing market, we were determined to find a partner who shared our vision for excellence in all aspects; a partner who could deliver a unique, high-end resort experience that would meet the needs of discerning guests time and time again. We are delighted that Dusit, with its 70 years of proven international hospitality experience, is that partner. We look forward to a long and successful relationship together.

Dusit Thani Hoi An will be Dusits second property in Vietnam, following the opening of the upper midscale Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort, Phu Quoc in May last year.
