Carlson Rezidor Appoints Scott McConnell as Director of Global Sales - Leisure, Asia Pacific

Carlson Rezidor has appointed Scott McConnell as Director of Global Sales – Leisure, Asia Pacific.

A seasoned industry professional with over 18 years’ experience, Scott was most recently the global account director with Langham Hospitality Group where he was responsible for the management of the leisure, travel, MICE and entertainment markets for their global portfolio.

He also has a rich understanding of on-property sales having served positions at several hotels in Australia and the Millennium London Mayfair.

His success in sales excellence and relationship management will be instrumental to building the affinity of our brands and fully capitalizing on the opportunities of this strong and growing market potential,” said Sandy Russell, vice president, Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific.

Scott has a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Tourism degree from Monash University in Melbourne.

He is based in Sydney and reports to Cathy O’Connor, senior director, Global Sales – MICE, Asia Pacific.
