Premier Inn to Open Hotel in Penrith, England

Premier Inn will next week open a new hotel in Penrith, England.

The hotel, scheduled to open 2 March 2016, is expected to contribute over 3.6 million to the local economy whilst generating 26 year round jobs.

The brand new 60-room hotel is situated in the heart of the town, within walking distance from all the local amenities and attractions, and just a mile away from Penrith North Lakes Train Station.

As well as being known for it's three mile proximity to the Lake District National Park, Penrith is now an important shopping district, with a good mix of traditional shops and arcades.

Guests will be able to enjoy the majestic Aira force waterfall walks or for the more adventurous, a visit to Eden Valley adventures for river rafting, water tubing, canyoning and rappelling tours is a must.

Julia Marshall, The New Openings Manager for Premier Inn Penrith, said, "We are looking forward to welcoming guests to the town of Penrith and to spread the word of all that it has to offer. With our luxurious Hypnos beds, we want guests to have a good night's sleep so that they can Wake up Wonderful for the day ahead. Positioned in a fantastic location, within walking distance to Penrith Castle, the hotel will give guests everything they need to explore the area!"

Rooms at the Premier Inn Penrith feature a 40" flat screen TV, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed and a modern bathroom with a large showerhead. The hotel also boasts an on-site Thyme restaurant.
