Hamad International Airport (HIA) will host the 12th Airport Council International Asia Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference and Exhibition, which will take place 10-12 April in the city of Doha in 2017.

The annual event, which addresses major issues affecting the aviation industry, attracts high level representation from airports and industry partners, including airlines, regulators and suppliers from all over the world.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Operating Officer at HIA said, “As proud hosts of the 12th ACI Asia Pacific Regional Assembly, we anticipate welcoming our industry peers to Doha through the gates of our airport to experience Qatar’s warm hospitality and culture along with its cosmopolitan sophistication. Most importantly, together with ACI Asia Pacific, we will be providing the platform for industry leaders to come together to discuss trends and challenges, as well as propose ideas that will make a real difference to the future of aviation.”

This is the second time Doha’s airport will be hosting a major ACI event with the previous hub, Doha International Airport, hosting the ACI Airport Exchange 2013.
