Carl Wilson Joins Board of Directors at Hotel Internet Services

Hotel Internet Services (HIS), a full-service provider of internet services and technology solutions for the hotel industry, has appointed Carl Wilson to its Board of Directors.

Wilson is a recognized business leader whose career spans over four decades leading corporations such as Georgia-Pacific and Pillsbury.

From 1997 to 2011, he served as Executive Vice President and Global CIO of Marriott International where he used leading-edge technology to advance the global presence of this $13+ billion hotel company with 4,300 properties across 81 countries.

In his own right, Wilson is a decorated IT professional who was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in 2007. He was also named as "CIO 100" from CIO for 17 years and "InformationWeek 500" for 13 consecutive years.

Today, he is a sought after Chief Information Officer coach, advisor and mentor, as well as a senior level IT consultant. Wilson holds several corporate and advisory board member positions, where it is his goal to help others maximize their success.
