Capella has been appointed by PT Awahita Indonesia to manage a luxury resort in Ubud, Bali.

A hidden sanctuary within densely forested terrain, Capella Ubud will have 22 luxurious tents designed by celebrated architect, Bill Bensley.

Mr. Nicholas M. Clayton , Chief Executive Officer of Capella Hotel Group Asia, said, "Within the next 18 months, we will introduce three distinctive Capella projects to Asia, beginning with Shanghai in Spring 2017, Ubud in Autumn 2017 and Bangkok in Spring 2018. Each Capella hotel will showcase the rich heritage of each destination, delivering the authentic experiences that our guests expect."

Edged by rice paddy fields, Capella Ubud will comprise 22 ultra-luxury tents featuring an individual plunge pool set against the backdrop of a densely forested terrain along the sacred Wos River.

Amenities will include the signature Capella Library, a canopied cistern pool, tented gymnasium, Robatayaki grill, garden specialty dining and the award-winning Auriga Spa and wellness retreat.

Conveniently located near the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Ubud Traditional Art Market, guests can enrich their cultural excursions with walks around the rice paddy fields or indulge in wellness protocol within the resort.
