Pan Pacific Hanoi Appoints Marc Emmanuel as General Manager

Marc Emmanuel has been appointed as General Manager of the 273-room Pan Pacific Hanoi.

Currently operating as Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, the hotel is undergoing refurbishments to the lobby, lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant and meeting spaces before it is launched as Pan Pacific Hanoi on 1 October 2016.

Marc is neither stranger to Vietnam nor to the property, having been based there previously for five years as its Executive Assistant Manager.

He has amassed extensive international hospitality experience from the multi-cultural environments of France, Morocco and Switzerland over his 15-year career.

Upon graduating from the Glion Institute for Higher Education in Switzerland, Marc started his hospitality career with Hyatt where he earned increasingly senior roles in revenue management and operations.

“We are delighted to welcome Marc to the group,” said Erik Anderouard, Senior Vice President, Operations, Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “With his extensive experience and networks in Vietnam, combined with an international hospitality outlook, Marc is the ideal candidate to drive strong performance for a brand-defining hotel like Pan Pacific Hanoi as we continue to strengthen our presence in key gateway cities in the Asia-Pacific region. Being deeply familiar with the property, we are confident that Marc will combine seamless operations with strategic direction to firmly entrench the Pan Pacific brand in the market.”
