Ascott Opens Asias First Crest Collection Property

Ascott has opened the Metropole Bangkok, the groups first luxury serviced residence under The Crest Collection in Asia.

The Metropole is located in Thonglor, one of Bangkoks most sought-after residential districts.

The exclusive serviced residence features a colonial architecture and an infusion of neoclassicism design with Thai elegance.

Mr Jean Keijdener, Ascotts Country General Manager for Thailand, said, Metropole is the only property in Asia and one of four in the world handpicked to be part of the prestigious Crest Collection. Choosing Bangkok to debut our first Crest Collection property in the region is testament to Ascotts commitment to Thailand. Bangkok is one of Asias most dynamic cities and Thonglor is its most vibrant area, home to the citys trendiest dining and entertainment options.

Metropole is surrounded by trendy restaurants and cafs, fashionable retail outlets, popular lifestyle malls as well as bars and clubs. Sukhumvit Road, Bangkoks main business and entertainment district, and Bangkok Hospital, an international medical centre, are a short drive away. Thonglor skytrain station is a 10-minute drive away, providing residents with easy access to various tourist attractions and major industrial estates in Eastern Thailand.

The serviced residence offers 116 apartments with a choice of studio or one-bedroom apartment and some units also come with a private balcony.

Each apartment features an high ceiling and most of them have large floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the city.

The Metropole provides guests with facilities such as a swimming pool, a fitness centre with cold onsen, a restaurant with an outdoor dining area and residents lounge. For guests convenience, the serviced residence also offers additional services including laundry, dry cleaning and meal delivery.

Besides Metropole in Bangkok, Ascotts three other serviced residences under The Crest Collection are located in Paris, France. La Clef Louvre and La Clef Tour Eiffel are operational while La Clef Champs-lyses is slated to open in 2018.
