Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) and Visa have joined forces to launch a Central Travel Account (CTA) Lodge card solution in Europe.

Visa Central Travel Account is a centralised payment solution which combined with HRG’s travel management expertise gives clients complete control and visibility of their travel spend.

John Harvey, Group Marketing Director, HRG, said, “We have seen a growing demand among our clients for a CTA. Driven by a need to get total visibility of travel spend, clients are actively seeking simple solutions to this perennial problem of how to pay for travel where the traveller does not have an individual card. The success of a CTA depends upon the availability of good quality, reliable and consistent travel data that can be matched to financial data. In working together with Visa, our new Lodge Card solution delivers an enhanced data feed into Visa which enables Visa issuing banks and clients to have a more complete picture of expenditure.”

Sandra Alzetta, Executive Director, Core Products, Visa Europe, added, “In working closely with HRG, we are able to offer a resilient and innovative Central Travel Account solution to HRG clients across Europe. Clients will benefit from a highly streamlined payment process that can be consolidated with their other Visa Commercial Card programmes and be fully integrated with their expense management and accounting processes.”
