Taiwan’s China Airlines is to adopt the full Amadeus Altéa suite of solutions.

China Airlines and its subsidiary, Mandarin Airlines, will implement the passenger service system (PSS) and e-commerce platform which is already used by more than half of the SkyTeam Alliance.

KC Kuey, AVP New PSS Program, China Airlines said, “We are pleased to partner with Amadeus as they support us in catering to the growing Taiwanese travel market as well as the broader Asian aviation and travel industry. Their Chinese language offering tailored to suit our needs is a testimony to how they consistently place customers first. This will go a long way in helping us become increasingly flexible and scalable in our operations.”

The full solution roll-out will include among others, a series of streamlined passenger service solutions including inventory, reservations, passenger self–service check-in and departure control capabilities. This will ensure the airline has even greater cooperation within the alliance, enabling a seamless customer experience between members.
