Mobile Access App Provides Hotels with Easy Entry to Keyless Solutions

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Friday, 3 July 2015

Assa Abloy Hospitality (formerly VingCard Elsafe) has launched a Mobile Access App, a skinnable solution with an off-the-shelf approach that will allow hotels worldwide to implement mobile access without the need for custom app creation or complex integrations.

The app works with the same secure Seos ecosystem upon which the Assa Abloy Hospitality Mobile Access solution was built.

Primarily designed for independent hotels looking to introduce a mobile access element to their property using VingCard locks, the Mobile Access App provides numerous benefits, including ease of implementation since no integration with third-party systems is required

The Assa Abloy Hospitality Mobile Access solution was designed to provide a guest experience that is convenient, secure and time saving, said Gard Gabrielsen, Global Product Director / Mobile Access & Credentials at Assa Abloy Hospitality. Our Mobile Access App is a guests first encounter with the keyless solution and clearly leads travelers through each step of the process, from downloading a single app to registration and room entry.

Assa Abloy Hospitalitys Mobile Access App automatically comes with Visionline integration, allowing guests to see and approve their reservation prior to check-in, or view details including type and room number. Integration with the hotels PMS for additional automation is available but not necessary in order to use the mobile solution.

Hotels can choose from two variations of the app. The basic app is a generic version, in which a hotel can use the administration portal to customize their digital key graphics that will then show in a Passbook inspired style. Assa Abloy Hospitality also offers a Software Development Kit, which makes it easy for a hotel to finalize the app with their own unique look and feel, and then publish it on App Store/Google Play as their own branded version.

In order to provide an even wider range of options, the Assa Abloy Hospitality Mobile Access technology can also be integrated into an hotels existing branded app. In addition, Assa Abloy Hospitality has partnered with a number of third-party app providers through their Certified Mobile Access Partner program, allowing hotels with more complex mobile technology applications to integrate Mobile Access with other property systems and technologies.
