Taipei Marriott Appoints DOSM

The 320-room Taipei Marriott Hotel has appointed Elaine Chin as Director of Sales and Marketing.

With an accomplished background that includes over 18 years of experience working in various positions in the hotel industry, Elaine, who has been with the Marriott brand since 2012, served previously as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Marriott Luwan in Shanghai.

In her new role, Elaine will help to raise awareness and solidify the positioning for the hotel, which is Marriotts first property in Taiwan.

Were thrilled to have Elaine Chin as our new Director of Sales and Marketing and we are confident in her abilities to add significant value to our property, said Mark Liu, Managing Director of Taipei Marriott Hotel. Having worked previously for Marriott, Elaine is a great fit for this role and brings with her a wealth of knowledge for the brand, which will benefit us tremendously and ensure that Marriotts loyal guests receive the same elevated experience that theyve grown accustomed to when they visit Taipei and stay with us.

Prior to working with Marriott, Elaine was the Director of Sales and Marketing for both the Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze and Le Meridien Chongqing Nanan. During her time at Le Meridien Chongqing Nanan, she played a key role in raising awareness for the hotels opening. In addition, she spent three years working as the Director of MICE for The Westin Bejiing, where she played a key role in raising banquet and group room revenue.
