The Senior Vice President and General Counsel of
SAS, Mats Lönnkvist, is to retire and leave SAS Group Management
on 1 March 2015. In connection with that Mats Lönnkvist
leaving SAS, a restructure of SAS Group Management will be
implemented. The change means that additional
responsibilities will be given to SAS new Chief of Staff, Carina
Malmgren Heander, who besides HR and Communications now also will
include Legal & Public and Regulatory Affairs. Marie Wohlfahrt
will become SAS new General Counsel within the Legal & Public
organization. The restructuring means that the number of
members of SAS Group Management will decrease to seven people. "I would like to thank Mats for making such a
fantastic contribution during his 27 years with SAS. In
particular, over the last few years, his expertise and dedication
have proved invaluable to our work with change management and I
wish him all the best now when he is leaving SAS to enter
retirement," said Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO of SASSAS |
