Vietjet Aviation has signed an agreement with South Korean fast food giant Lotteria Vietnam in an alliance that will see products being supplied to the airline, enabling it to offer customers more meal choices onboard.

Meals by Lotteria Vietnam will be available on all domestic and international Vietjet flights and to celebrate this partnership, Vietjet has emblazoned an aircraft with Lotteria Vietnam’s logo.

The logo is red and yellow, syncing with the airline’s own colours, which “aim to reflect a spirit of youth and enthusiasm”.

“As one of the leading airlines in terms of innovation and service, we are delighted to diversify our inflight menu with Lotteria Vietnam’s products that will offer our valued passengers even more variety for in-flight meals,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Managing Director of Vietjet. “Besides becoming one of Asia’s best airlines, we are also developing as a consumer corporation and this strategic partnership with Lotteria Vietnam will contribute to that goal by helping us to add more value to our services and raise standard to the highest quality.”

Lotteria Vietnam was established in 1998, and has since become one of the leading companies in the country’s fast-food industry with more than 190 restaurants in 30 cities and provinces countrywide.

Mr. Kang Hyung Hee, Managing Director of Lotteria Vietnam, said, “We are proud to be the first ever fast food brand to be featured on an aircraft in Vietnam. Lotteria Vietnam is also the very first fast food supplier to Vietjet and this agreement has further strengthened the bilateral relation of culture and cuisine between Vietnam and South Korea.”

Boasting a new and modern fleet, Vietjet features fast and easy check in and high quality onboard services. Vietjet currently operates 150 flights per day with a fleet of 22 A320 Airbus aircraft across 28 routes domestically and internationally.
