Aloft Hotel Opens in Taipei, Taiwan

Starwood has expanded its Aloft Hotels brand to Taiwan, with the opening of the Aloft Taipei Zhongshan.

Situated in the city’s northeast downtown area, Aloft Taipei Zhongshan is located on a bustling commercial street lined with international firms, hotels and well-known restaurants.

The hotel is 10 minutes by car from Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) and the closest Taipei Metro Station is less than 2 minutes away by foot. The hotel also offers easy access to the city’s numerous attractions, as well as close proximity to a variety of theaters, craft stores and night markets.

Aloft Taipei Zhongshan has 88 rooms which feature the brand’s signature offerings, such as free WiFi, SPG Keyless, ultra-comfortable signature plush platform bed, an oversized showerhead, custom amenities by Bliss Spa, Plug & Play connectivity panel and 42” LCD TVs.

In addition, each guestroom sports unique artwork created by young and talented Taiwanese designers, adding a dash of local character.

Located at the top floor of the hotel, the signature W XYZ bar is a stylish lounge during the day and transforms into a hip and happening bar by night. The bar offers hundreds of wine and cocktail selections that ideally presented as a perfect cocktail socializing spot.

Re:fuel by Aloft offers international buffet breakfast in the morning and also as a one-stop 24/7 “grab and go” caters to those travelers who prefer a quick and convenient dining option.

To celebrate its opening, Aloft Taipei Zhongshan is offering an opening package “Be our A-List” of TWD4,500 per night, which includes: one-night stay in a Savvy room, daily buffet breakfast for one, double Starpoints for every eligible spending, and complimentary WiFi during stay.
