Plateno to Open Luxury Resort on Isla de Carabao, Philippines

Plateno Hotels Group is to open a new island resort in the Philippines.

The Portofino Ocean’s Edge Resort – Boracay Philippines, scheduled to open in June 2016, is located in the west of Isla de Carabao, the sister island to Boracay, the world renowned resort destination in the Philippines named as the best beach in Asia by the TripAdvisor in its 2015 Traveler’s Choice Awards.

The resort will feature 44 grass-thatched villas with spacious private terrace and plunge pool.

Facilities at the Portofino Ocean’s Edge Boracay will include a club house, horizon pool with wood deck, private beach cove, spa, watersports, speed boat and ferry services, as well as a cliff top bar and restaurant.
