Swiss-Belhotel has expanded its global portfolio to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with the opening of the Swiss-Belhotel Corniche, Abu Dhabi.

The 20-storey Swiss-Belhotel Corniche Abu Dhabi offers sweeping sea views, and its 189 rooms and suites start from 42sqm and contain a seating area and desk with a dual-line extension telephone, IDD and PC connections.

The hotel has three restaurants and cafes serving a selection of Middle Eastern and international cuisine, while the hotel is also an ideal venue for meetings and events with space for up to 300 guests. The hotel's leisure facilities include a rooftop gym and a swimming pool.

"It's been a long-held ambition of Swiss-Belhotel International to have a property in Abu Dhabi but it was always a matter of waiting for the right hotel, which we've found with this attractive, distinctive offering," said Mr. Gavin M. Faull, Swiss-Belhotel Chairman and President. "We will inject our brand of professionalism and passion to the hotel I am sure it will be a great success for many years to come. It's a very exciting time for Swiss-Belhotel International as we expand in the Middle East and we look forward to further growth in this dynamic market."

The addition of Swiss-Belhotel Corniche Abu Dhabi brings Swiss-Belhotel International's portfolio in the Middle East up to eleven hotels and projects, following the most recent addition last year of Swiss-Belresort Ghantoot.

The other operating hotels are Swiss Belhotel Seef, Bahrain, Swiss Belhotel Plaza Kuwait and Swiss Belhotel Doha, Qatar. They will be joined by Swiss-Belinn Ghurbrah Oman, Swiss-Belhotel Riyadh, Swiss-Belboutique Riyadh, Swiss-Belhotel Stenden Doha, Grand Swiss-Belhotel Batumi Georgia and Swiss-Belhotel Erbil, Iraq by the end of 2016 for a total of eight hotels.
