Worldpay, one of the world’s leading payment providers, has partnered with Hong Kong’s low-cost airline, HK Express to support its ambitious expansion plans and optimise transaction rates as it grows.

As HK Express grows in existing markets and plans to expand to new geographies, Worldpay’s global reach and multi-currency pricing will help it achieve those goals.

Andrew Cowen, Deputy CEO of HK Express said, “As an airline that is continually looking to expand into other regions we need a payments partner with global reach and expertise in the sector. Worldpay’s range of currencies and trusted consultancy on alternative payment methods allows us to offer our customers the opportunity to pay in their preferred way in their local currency. Offering our customers the best payment experience can only lead to increased transaction volumes which is why Worldpay was the ideal partner for us.”

Worldpay will provide HK Express with analytics and optimisation services to help them increase acceptance rates and drive incremental revenue.

Mike Parkinson, VP Airlines at Worldpay said, “HK Express is a great example of a company that has a large international customer base and needs a payment partner to support high volumes of international transactions in multiple currencies. We look forward to supporting HK Express by providing a better payment experience for its customers as it continues to add to its payments infrastructure and expand into new markets”
