Plaza Premium Lounge Management has been appointed to design and operate the airports lounges at the newly-built extensions of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports’ passenger terminals.

The Hong Kong-based company will offer value-added arrangements including meet & greet service and spa & shower facilities.

The services are expected to start by midyear 2015 at Phnom Penh International Airport and by this year end at Siem Reap’s.

Mr Song Hoi-see, Founder & CEO of Plaza Premium, said, “We are excited to announce cultural capitals Phnom Penh and Siem Reap as the latest additions to the Plaza Premium global network. Our lounges, spanning over 2,200 square metres in the two airports combined, are a promise of comfort, convenience and value. This latest development testifies to our commitment in making the global travel experience an enjoyable one.”

To cope with the steady increase of passengers, in January 2014 Cambodia Airports launched a US$ 100-million upgrading program to expand the terminals at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports and double their capacity to 5 million passengers each. The commissioning of the new facilities is scheduled in early 2016.

Ms Patrine Tay, Marketing & Sales Director of Cambodia Airports, says: "Cambodia Airports is delighted to have a like-minded partner in Plaza Premium, who shares our commitment to service quality and excellence. With their expertise in lounge management globally, we look forward to welcoming our passengers in our best-in-class airport lounges in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports."
