Gulf Air to Resume Athens Flights; Launches Double Miles Promotion

Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has launched a Double Miles promotion giving its FalconFlyer Programme members the opportunity to earn double miles when flying to the airline’s newest destination, Athens.

Gulf Air will resume its flights to the Greek capital, Athens, with 4 weekly flights starting on 16 June 2014.

Gulf Air Senior Manager Customer Care and Service Quality Control, Mrs. Kavita Sharma AlJassim, said, “Gulf Air’s FalconFlyer Programme is geared towards making our passengers’ travel experience more rewarding. This one-month promotion coincides with the upcoming resumption of flights to Athens, giving all our FalconFlyer members the opportunity to travel to the Greek capital while earning even more miles.”

Gulf Air’s FalconFlyer Programme offers members privileges and value-added benefits such as bonus miles up to 250%, family membership and special privileges both on the ground and in the air.

Other advantages of the program include special online booking bonuses, improved baggage allowance, three years miles validity, unlimited lounge access, priority baggage handling and guaranteed seats.

The “Double Miles” promotion is valid from 16 June until 16 July 2014.
